1/ Stand each almond upright in the groove of a mini-kouglof mold.

2/ Preheat the oven to 410°F (210°C).
3/ Pour the flour and sugar into a mixing bowl and make a well in the center. Add the butter, egg, yeast, and warm milk, and mix well.
4/ Knead the dough until it no longer sticks to the sides or bottom of the mixing bowl. Add the raisins to the dough, and knead the dough again to distribute the raisins. Pour the dough into the mini-kouglof molds and cover with a kitchen towel. Let rest for 1 hour at room temperature.
5/ When the dough has risen, bake the mini-kouglofs for 30 minutes or until they turn golden-brown. Remove the kouglofs from the oven and let cool before removing them from the molds. Dust with confectioner’s sugar.
