Christmas shortbread

Ingredients

300 g of flour
150 g of sugar
A few lemon or orange peels (preferably organic)
2 eggs
150g of soft butter

Steps

Beat the butter until it becomes slightly foamy. Add the eggs and sugar and beat for about 10 minutes.
Add the flour and the zest and make a ball. Put it in the fridge for a few hours. 
Preheat the oven to 150°C. Take the dough out of the fridge and flatten it to 6mm thickness with the adjustable rolling pin. 
With Christmas cookie cutters, cut out small cookies and place them on a baking sheet.
Bake for about 10 minutes.
